I have a workstation with Win 2003 Server 64bit edition and I’m trying to get Outllook to work on it. Now I have another machine on the same network with XP Pro and Outlook works fine. Both machines have identical network settings.
When I try to Check Name it comes up with the message “Outllok could not logon. Check to make sure your connected to the network” Now I know I’m connected coz I get web access fine.
I have looked at doing connection over HTTP and this would work if our network administrator would enable this on Exchange 2003.
I can’t believe you cant do this as SQL 2000 requires a MAPI account for use with SQL mail.
Was wondering if some service or security policy has an option to enable this?
