    Hi,

I seem to be having a problem with getting DHCP over a Cisco WLAN controller.

    Setup is follows

SSG5 has sub bgroup interface ip 192.168.1.1/24 tagged as vlan 200
DHCP server setup and also address pool

This works as if I place a switchport into vlan 200 then a DHCP address on the correct network is issued to the client.

virtual interface created on the Cisco WLC IP 192.168.1.2/24 DGW of 192.168.1.1 DHCP SSID created and assigned to virtual interface.

If a client connects to the ssid then they are not offered a DHCP lease, however if a client assigns a static address on the 192.168.1 network they are able to connect and browse the internet etc.

I’m thinking this is perhaps a DHCP relay issue (the WLC should be set in this way apparently) but I’m rather unsure?

    Thanks in advance
