Your article on how to change passwords on a remote computer is exactly what I was looking for, however there is one small problem. When I attempt to change my password on the remote computer I receive a “You do not have permission to change your password” error. I’ve already verified that I can change the password on the remote computer by logging on to that computer. I also made sure that the minimum password age was set to zero so that I could attempt to change my password remotely. Are there any Local Security Policy settings that I should check to ensure that I don’t have something misconfigured? I also forgot to mention (hence the edit) that both computers I am working from are Windows XP Pro machines in a Workgroup.
