Transfering FSMO Roles

Hi,
I have an actice directory forest, consists of root domain and chilsd domains located in deferent sites. Each domain has two domain controllers. In one of the sites the PDC emulator crshed and won’t work any more I seized the roles to the additional DC, AD seems to work fine (i. e. create and delete objects, connect to other domains, and so on) but when i try to join new computer to the domain, i receive “a domain controller could not be contacted for the domain (DOMAIN NAME)” even though i have two domain controllers for that domain.
