Please excuse, I never set this up so looking for pointers

We had one DB so I created another and noticed the transaction logs folder for 2nd DB was eating disk space.

Having compared both DB’s setup, neither had circular logging but cannot fathom out why DB1 has 1.7gb (files seem to go back several days) of DB files and DB2 had 57gb.

As a quick fix I’ve enabled circular logging on DB2 but is there something I’m missing.

Having looked at the log files, DB1 seems to go back far longer that the approx 7 mins of DB2

Is there a time retention policy that I’m not seeing?

    Thanks
