I’m looking for a easy way to track user activity such as login and logoff. We don’t require our staff to log off their computers but we do have workstations lock after a period of inactivity so we’d like to track workstation locking as well.
Is there any utility, GPO or any method to do this? I’ve been asked on several occasions to determine the last person who was in the office using this method. So far the only solution I can find is using GPO with a script that writes to a text file.
Ideally a free solution would be best but I’m willing to pay for a cheap third-party utility if necessary.
