Use the following registry keys on BOTH the host operating system AND the guest os:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelDesktop]
“AutoEndTasks”=”1”

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlSession ManagerMemory Management]
“DisablePagingExecutive”=dword:00000001

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesTcpipParameters]
“DisableTaskOffload”=dword:00000000

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlFileSystem]
“NtfsDisableLastAccessUpdate”=dword:00000001
Save as a .REG file and import to the registry (make sure you back up your registry, as always, before doing any changes to it).
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
