Sysprep incompatibility

I am trying to move an SBS 2003 server, including the installed applications, running on VMWare to physical hardware and part of the procedure, described by a VMWare PDF, is sysprep.
Of course we have all used sysprep successfully in the passed.
When I run sysprep and click on “reseal”, I get the error :
There is an incompatibility between this tool and the current opearting system.
Unable to continue.I have tried the sysprep from the original first CD, I have tried the sysprep from the first CD of an SBS 2003 R2 set and I have downloaded a new sysprep from Microsoft and they all come with this error.
Does anybody have a clue ?
