show interface problem

    i’m having a weird problem on my router
    the interface is down ,down but i see input packets increasing and traffic is passing via this interface.
    i added output from the router :
    PT_Access-A_A6#sh int s0/2/2
    Serial0/2/2 is down, line protocol is down
    Hardware is HWIC-Serial
    Description: GLX1120 CDM600
    Interface is unnumbered. Using address of FastEthernet0/0 (
