Hi I am trying to look into setting up a number of standalone kiosk type PCs using Windows 7 pro. The computers have been bought by a local charity to put advice screens into community centres so budgets are very limited.
I need the pc to only allow access to a specific webpage and skype to be available when the machine is logged on as a specific user. No other applications or access to anything else as they are to be open to public unattended use.
I have looked at various kiosk software packages but all are too expensive.
Someone has suggested I could just use a local group policy to set this up. Is that possible on a standalone pc?
    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
    Thank you
