    I am able to make most simple programs work with the remote serial port of our terminal server (Windows Server 2003).

    When using a commercial package called Mail Order Manager active-X is used to read the com port of the weight scale (serial) interface. The error indicates that the active-X control is not properly registered, and that the com port is unavailable.

    I really need some clever ideas on this one…
