Is there a registry key that I could modify to cause Windows Server 2003 not to prepend the credentials it passes to anAS/400 with the domainusername or localusername and just simply pass username when it connects to the OS400 shares?

The issue is a Windows 2003 Server, AD domain in mixed-mode, that has an application that needs to run as a service under a specific account’s credentials. This service needs to connect to a share on an AS/400 (OS400, not AIX, QDLS file system), but when it attempts to, the domain information is stuck onto (I guess there’s no such word as “prepended”) the front of the account name passed to the AS/400.

Thanks in advance. I’m trying to find an IBM forum to pose a quesiton about this authentication issue too.
