We have been using Exchange for awhile, but only for the shared calendar, never for email.
I’m about to rectify that and bring all of our email in house, and use Exchange 2003 for it.. However, our copy of exchange is on the DC, and I want to move it to another server.
The only thing that was stored on it was a shared calendar. That I can export out, and reimport once the move is done.
What I had planned, and it would be greatly appreciated it someone can tell me if I”m going in the wrong direction, was to export the calendar out. Remove Exchange from the DC using Add/Remove Programs. Then simple reload from scratch on the new server.
An additional concern, is the Contacts that people have in their Outlook now.. Those are stored in Outlook, not on their local machine. Correct?
