    Hi all,

    We have got 2012r2 migration recently, so we need proxy sever to block social websites and other unwanted thing.

    is there any open source proxy server for windows,if paid then what about cost and which best for windows 2012R2 server.

    Kindly help me on this.

    Setup a zone in DNS for the sites you want blocked. I have setup forward lookups in the past to direct game sites, social media sites, and other unwanted traffic to redirect to our internal or external website. I would agree with davidr4 “Your best action is going to be through your router or a 3rd party filter.” A filter is really the easiest and better practice.
