I’ve got a big problem in my domain.

I had two servers: mailserver & navserver and they both were DC, only the mailserver had the GS and FSMO roles.

Also Exchange 2003 is installed on mailserver.

Yesterday the “mailserver” crashed and i’ve reinstalled it with Disaster Recovery of Exchange.

The server is member of the domain, but i cannot promote it to DC.

    I’m getting the error:

De fout is: DNS-naam does not exist.
    (foutcode 0x0000232B RCODE_NAME_ERROR)
De query was voor de SRV-record van

DNS is hosted on the other DC.

    Best regards,
    Joost Lauwen
