we are currently using microsoft office system 2007 and exchange server is exchange server 2003. Numbers of users are facing problem when they try to enable their out of office thru out of office assistance.
if the user do not put any messages in the out of office “text box”, they have no issues enabling the out of office. however, when they type in any text within the text box, and do a OK, an error pop- up, it read :-
you autoreply message cannot be displayed. the client operation failed. changes to the rule cannot be saved.
found a work arond by disabling the cached mode in outlook client, again this is just a temporary solution. after enabling the OOOA, user need to enable back the cache mode…it is rather tedious
Anybody have any permanent solution to my problems..?? like tweaking the registry…
Greatly appreciated if some 1 out there willing to share.
