We have a new server installed.
Windows 2008 R2 with Exchange 2010 SP1
On the firewall there is only port 80 & 443 open
Over the WAN the RPC over HTTPS doesn’t work.
Here is what i try already
I want to www testexchangeconnectivity . com
and the result is
Attenpting to ping RPC endpoint 6001 (exchange information store) on server XXX.XX.local
The attempt to ping the endpoint failed.
Additional details The RPC_S_SERVER_UNAVAILABLE error (0x6ba) was thrown by the RPC Runtime process.
I try to telnet from the server itself the port 6001,6002 & 6004
and i recieve this response : ncacn_http/1.0
I try to restart the server doesn t help.
I try to go the the webpage: https server . xxx. com /RPC
, I see the owa screen where i need to put the username and password and after putting them i recieve
I try the rpcping
RPCPinging proxy server server.XXXX.com with Echo Request Packet
Sending ping to server
Response from server received: 200
Pinging successfully completed in 652ms
I don t know what more to try please please help me
