    Hello,

I am running outlook 2003 on a windows xp machine. I configured outlook for a IMAP connection to gmail.

It was working fine for several months. Then, all of a sudden, on July 30, I noticed that when I deleted an email from my inbox or any other folder in outlook, it just disappeared. It didn’t go the Deleted Items folder as it had been since I first configured the IMAP connection.

I’ve read many online posts of others having similar problems, with their deleted emails just disappearing. No where, could I find a solution that worked.

I know this should work, because it DID work for me for several months.

I’m not aware of changing any settings in gmail or outlook, so not sure why this started happening.

    Thanks for your help!
