Please bear with me, but I am still new to this. I am trying to put in a statement in the PIX that will allow doing telnet on port 25 from a mail server to barracuda services. They do not have a single IP for this, but a range of IPs. They also have an Outbound Hostname of dXXXXX.o.ess.barracudanetworks.com. Would the statement I need to put in look like this:
access-list BORDER permit tcp XX.XX.XX.XX XXX.XXX.XXX.0 255.255.240.0 eq smtp, where the 2X group is my mail server and the 3X group is the barracuda host. Or can I put in the hostname in lieu of the barracuda host IP range?
