I have just rebuild a new domain controller and was moving all cleints to the new domain, each PC had 1 of 2 passwords on for the administrator of the PC so I was able to move the PC’s – first to a Workgroup and then into the new domain. But problem I stopped checking the Administrator on the individual PC and to my horror the PC with the most valueable info on either did not have a local admionistrator or it had a different password.
I now have this PC loged off in the workgroup and can not log back on again.
So far I must have tried 10’s of passwords without any joy.

Please can someone help – PC is XP pro and server is 2000 SBS

  • Who should be allowed to be invited as a guest?
  • What type of guests should be able to access files in SharePoint and OneDrive?
  • How should guests be offboarded?
  • How should you determine who has access to sensitive information in your environment?
