Setup: Last DC server 2003, 2 other DC server 2008 R2, Exchange 2010 on server 2008r2, windows 7 clients. What happened, was decommissioning the last DC 2003 which happened to be the Certificate authority, removed cert service, then did the dcpromo, Problem, I didn’t not realize that the cert services were still active, since exchange 2003 was retired and that is when the cert services were set up. Now that the DC is out of the domain, and cert services are removed, what can I do? I have installed a new enterprise cert server on 2008 r2. and it shows the old one off line. Presently no one can access exchange/outlook, exchange 2010 wont start. Help urgently needed. Thank you so much in advance. Please give good directions, as I am not an expert as you can tell.
