    Hi all,
I have been having issues with this for quite a while now. I have a network drive that I set up on my server on my network. The folder is on the server using the file services role, and then I mapped it as a drive here on my Windows 7 laptop. The problem with this though, is that I cannot connect to it while offline even though I have told both the Windows 2008 R2 file server and my Windows 7 laptop to cache offline files for use while away from the network. I continuously receive the error message “\Katherine-Serv is inaccessible. Try again when you reconnect to the network” Even though I’m not looking at a fresh copy of the files, I should still be able to access them as long as the offline feature is set to enabled, shouldn’t I? I have also looked for internet sources on this, and I can find nothing that pertains directly to it. If anybody has any feedback or suggestions to get this to work, I’d appreciate it. Thanks.
