We have client that sends us an email when we do something on their website. The email is to us, from us…..from [email protected] to [email protected]. It looks like they are using javamail to send the email to their mail environment and then routing it out to us. Our problem is that we get an NDR from their email server stating:
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Sent: 9/25/2009 6:59 PM
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
******on 9/25/2009 6:59 PM
The message reached the recipient’s e-mail system, but delivery was refused. Attempt to resend the message. If it still fails, contact your system administrator.
< server.domain.com #5.2.0 SMTP; 550 5.7.1 Message rejected.>
Any idea why it fails? We have another Exchange 2003 environment that does not have the problem and we can not tell what is different.
