Mailbox rights permission issue

Hi friends
We are using exchange 2007 enterprise with sp1 edition. I am facing a problem when i give the send as permission to a user on the generic mailbox. He can add the mailbox sucessfully but not send the mail through generic mailbox. I have give the permission through GUI and Power shell but is’t not working, i have give the send as permission to another user but no issue for that user. I ma facing this type of problem some times for any specific user, can you tell me how can i fix this.
