StephMemberAug 09, 2009 at 2:13 pm #143674Hi all,
I have the following issue and bare with me, I’m discovering VPN connections :) :
A window PC can connect to my SBS Box through VPNs. I can’t say I’m fully happy with it because sometime, the connection won’t work. Anyway, on the pc, i have the following info :
Carte PPP MyDomain:
Suffixe DNS propre à la connexion : MyDomain.local
Description . . . . . . . . . . . : WAN (PPP/SLIP) Interface
Adresse physique . . . . . . . . .: 00-53-45-00-00-00
DHCP activé. . . . . . . . . . . : Non
Adresse IP. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.23
Masque de sous-réseau . . . . . . : 255.255.255.255
Passerelle par défaut . . . . . . : 192.168.0.23
Serveurs DNS . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.4
192.168.0.4Everything seems ok !
Now I try to do the same with my macbook, and impossible to make it work. I followed the tutorial :
I go through login process, so it’s a good start. I get the following info from ifconfig :
ppp0 : flags=8051
mtu 1396
inet 192.168.0.16 –> 192.168.0.25 netmask 0xffffff00I manually added the DNS server but nothing will work from my mac.
I just realized the following that when I connect with my PC windows and then disconnect, then I cannot connect from my mac, I have to reboot my mac! And when finally that works, I cannot connect at once on my windows, I have to wait. So maybe something is screwed on my server. I did the standard installation on my sbs following the wizard.
Any pointers :( ?
