image cannot be restored in this recovery environment

Hi Guys,
We are currently looking for a full state backup / imaging software for our servers,
I thought, lets try windows backup :oops:I’ve made a full backup of all drives to an external disk (HP Proliant dl360G6 test server, with 2008R2X64).
After this, I entered the raid controller, deleted and recreated the raid 1+0 and then booted up Server 2008 R2 x64 DVD.
I followed the steps for repairing my server, and then it discovered my external driver, it shows the image and when I select it and press “next” it saids:
image cannot be restored in this recovery environment……
Anyone Ideas?
