    Wasn’t sure if this was the right place for this but it seemed appropriate. Limited User Accounts (LUA) is the latest attempt at securing Windows. Those of you familiar with Linux/Unix variants no doubt know that running as root should only be done when necessary. Running as Administrator in Windows can have disastrous effects. The most common of these is the installation and execution of spy/malware and browser hijacking. If anyone is looking for more info, Aaron Margosis’ Weblog has a slew of helpful information on the whys and hows of LUA. “The easiest way to run as non-admin” looks like a really good start. I always like articles that contain tips I can give to non-techies. Thought the others here might like this really comprehensive collection of links.
