After successfully installing Exchange 2010 in an already existing exchange 2007 environment, mails have since been queuing on both servers. The exchange server 2010 holds the Mailbox, Transport, CAS and UM roles whiles the Exchange 2007 also hold the Mailbox, Transport and CAS roles.
I have successfully moved all mailboxes to the Exchange 2010 server without errors. I still use the internet Send Connectors, one at a time to send mails out of the organization. Often times when mail queues start on the 2007 server and I disable it and enable the exchange 2010 Send Connector, mails leave the queue. So I have been swapping send connectors almost every 4 hours and this mechanism I think is not the best.
Could there be possible loops in my transport configurations. If there is how can I resolve this?
