Exchange + Hyper-V on same machine – can’t choose which NIC gets used for Exchange

Server 2008 x64 8GB fully patched, two physical NICs labeled “Internal” and “Hyper-V” along with the Hyper-V Virtual NIC.

Internal: 192.168.1.149
Configured with DNS registration and a DNS suffix
Hyper-V Virtual NIC: 192.168.1.150
Configured to NOT register DNS and NO DNS suffix
Both are configured with the same 255.255.255.0 subnet mask
Both are configured with the same gateway.

Exchange should be using the .149 but seems to go out on .150. I can tell by the logs on our outside mail server. I have gone to the advanced network settings and made sure the .149 NIC is listed first.

What can I do to make sure it goes out on .149 when traffic is initiated from the server?
