Hi everyone and thx in advance for your time,
– A domain already has an exchange server. ( 2dc, one of them is exchange 2003, both are 2003 servers).
– A new child domain is being added wich is in another town, so the dc(s) will be in another site, with replication properly configured.
– The admin for the new domain should be able to create and edit users himself, but as the new place wont have a exchange server, the mailboxes will reside on the root domain exchange server.
:!: What is the easiest way to configure it so that the when a new user is created in the new domain, the admin can also create the mailbox ?
I am fairly new to multiple sites configs, as you might have guessed.
:!: Can i create a group policy for the enterprise that will be prioritized over a one that might be created for the new domain ?
:!: If the dc fopr the child domain is down, can i have users authenticate using the dc of the root domain ?
Thanks a lot everybody,
