    All,

I hope some can help me out in this, I’m complety puzzled here.
Besides outlook (2007) clients, we also have applications running that send directly over SMTP through our Exchange 2007 server.
We use an existing emailaddress as the “from” address. However, that “from” address is not the default mailaddress:
email address configured in application: [email protected]
default mailaddress of that user: [email protected]
In my SMTP Receive log I see that the mail gets offered by the application server using [email protected], while the SMTP Send log shows me that the message is send out (to our spam firewall and from there onto the internet) using [email protected].
Can anyone point me in a direction where I might be able to change this automatic replacement of the “from” address with the default address?
    Thanks!
