tracert and poing cannot do external name resolution. NSLookup works. See:
    F:>ping http://www.yahoo.com
Ping request could not find host http://www.yahoo.com. Please check the name and try ag
    ain.

    F:>nslookup
    Default Server: fbrazContrDC.fucbraz.local
    Address: 192.168.1.2
    > http://www.yahoo.com
    Server: fbrazContrDC.fucbraz.local
    Address: 192.168.1.2
    Non-authoritative answer:
    Name: any-fp.wa1.b.yahoo.com
    Addresses: 69.147.125.65, 67.195.160.76
    Aliases: http://www.yahoo.com, fp.wg1.b.yahoo.com

OS is MS Windows server 2003 SP2 Standard Edition:
“E:> netsh winsock reset catalog does not resolve problem.
Installing and uninstalling KB945553 did not do the trick, Any idea how to slove the problem? I know that the problem is with securities updates and maybe something to do with malware or similar. Maybe dnsapi.dll is demaged?
