Viewing 1 post (of 1 total) Author Posts raydhaMember Oct 08, 2012 at 10:28 pm #160018 Hi, I’m maintaining a DNS server and subscribing 2 public ip from ISP. eg; 10.76.25.0/26 and 126.96.36.199/26 DNS running on bind 8 using this ip 10.76.25.30 is it possible to create to two zone? what i encounter now . we cannot resolve reserve lookup for zone 188.8.131.52/26? while we have no problem resolved foward and reverse for 10.76.25.0 zone. let say our domain example.com is bind to this 10.76.25.25 and mail bind to this 184.108.40.206. we cannot resolve reverse lookup for our mail. eg; server dns.example.com nslookup 220.127.116.11 dns.example.com can’t find 18.104.22.168: Non-existent domain however we have no problem resolve the fqdn eg; server dns.example.com nslookup mail.example.com Name : mail.example.com Address : 22.214.171.124 i’m newbie in bind dns. thanks Author Posts Viewing 1 post (of 1 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
