    Hi,

    I’m maintaining a DNS server and subscribing 2 public ip from ISP.
    eg; 10.76.25.0/26 and 128.28.20.0/26

    DNS running on bind 8 using this ip 10.76.25.30

    is it possible to create to two zone?

    what i encounter now . we cannot resolve reserve lookup for zone 128.28.20.0/26? while we have no problem resolved foward and reverse for 10.76.25.0 zone.

    let say our domain example.com is bind to this 10.76.25.25 and mail bind to this 128.28.20.21.
    we cannot resolve reverse lookup for our mail.

    eg;
    server dns.example.com
    nslookup 128.28.20.21
    dns.example.com can’t find 128.28.20.21: Non-existent domain

    however we have no problem resolve the fqdn
    eg;
    server dns.example.com
    nslookup mail.example.com
    Name : mail.example.com
    Address : 129.28.20.21

    i’m newbie in bind dns. thanks
