About half a year ago I’ve got a new siemens sl2-141 router, and ’till today it worked just fine using most of the time the usual ADSL windows made desktop dialer and sometimes the burnt-in router dialer.
Lately i’ve got disconnections in an annoying manner, when I called for help from ISP they tell me to use only the burnt-in dialer because the one made by windows conflicts with the router software, I do’nt beleive that, I connect this manner for over 6 months.

Q1: Is it true what they “sell” me about conflicts?
Q2: If it is true what are the differences?

Thank you very much for your response
