Well my computer’s copy of Windows XP died and I have some encrypted files that was left on a slave drive that was created on that corrupted copy. Well I sort-of made the mistake of reinstalling XP (recovery cd from the computer’s company) on where my original xp copy was installed on. Now I tried everything to recover the files back but I couldn’t seem to get them to work and are still encrypted. What could be done (could be very advanced directions too) to recover these files back??? Note, the ID for the corrupted Windows XP is overwritten on the recovery one. The files are on another partition on another drive but was created on the corrupted ID.

    Thank You!
