We are planning some data migration/sorting and I was wondering if anybody could advise any tools/software (ideally free) for that.
First of all we need to analyse the data age so we need a way to view folder tree by latest date files/folders accessed/created. So we want to to view file structure so we see folders sorted by the date the last file was accessed/modified in that folder. Simple file search by date modifie will not do – we need to sort folders by latest modified/accessed file in that folder (down to all subfolders, smthng like windirstat does for folder sizes). So something like Storage tiering in win 2012 (we have win 2008 R2 at the moment).
Also – anybody knows any free software to search and export list of files duplicates – I found a few but none of those fee versions does duplicates list export to csv etc (asking to buy a full version for that).

You will learn:

  • Who should be allowed to be invited as a guest?
  • What type of guests should be able to access files in SharePoint and OneDrive?
  • How should guests be offboarded?
  • How should you determine who has access to sensitive information in your environment?
