Cisco ASA 5505 ASDM dead

Hello all,
I have a Cisco ASA 5505; it was working when it came to my posession; i tried to restore the default donfig from my other ASA (identicall but newer FW) and now ASDM is dead; I tried restore config, I tried to factory reset, I uploaded new bins for asdm and ASA and…all without luck. Basically, when I try to load admin site from routers IP on http/https, I get nothing; the router itself is working and processing all data that I set up – trough the terminal interface…so any help here? please?
