due to interoffice politics, our office does not have admin access to the root domain or its DCs or GCSs.

We want to install an Exch 2010 server to coexist with our Exch 2003 server, but we will have to raise our AD level from 2000 native to 2003 native.

Is this possible to do without compatibility issues with our root domain, or other forests in our org?
