I can license an Office 365 tenant via the GUI and via powershell with a csv. I can even go the Azure AD Group route of automating licensing. However, the easier route would be giving tools to the service desk. If someone has a license change they phone up and a service desk person can do it over the phone. Just click on a button for whatever options the user needs. Easy.
However, I don’t want the service desk to be an admin an admin. I don’t want them to have any other choices than the ones I have set up. Basically, a template. Is there a way of doing this without having an extra Office 365 admin account floating around than needs a login? I am thinking something like the equivalent of a service account in Windows server when you just set up something securely that does just one thing.
