    Hi Guys,

    i’ve already read the following thread;

    http://forums.petri.com/showthread.php?t=6428

    now i am fully aware i can hide the shutdown and restart. That is fine.

    What i was wondering if it is possible to restrict those to administrator only? Meaning that I can leave the buttons there, but if I want to shutdown or reboot, can i get windows to prompt me for an administrative priveleged user, then if accepted it will shutdown or reboot?

    I saw this feature in our linux lab, but I thuoght there maybe a similar feature is available in windows xp.

    I could also runas shutdown or runas psshudown, or create

    but maybe there’s a gpo setting that i’m not aware of.

    any ideas?
