Replication is being done between DC1 and DC2 However, I’ve tested trying to run only on DC2 in case DC1 is down – disable DC1’s NIC. As soon as I’ve done this, AD on DC2 fails stating it can’t contact the AD for Domain xxx.local. When I re-enable NIC on DC1 – AD on DC2 is up again. Did I mess up somewhere? Is there any specific changes to be made to DNS settings? While DCPROMOTING DC2, I stuck with default settings and checked Global Catalog and DNS. Thanks for any replies. Author Posts Viewing 1 post (of 1 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
