    Hey all

We are moving to exchange 2010 and i was wondering whether it would be possible to have a second mail server that would hold the mailboxes of users from that state. All of the emails would still come in to the main exchange server but if clients had to sync a mailbox instead of doing it over the VPN they could just do it from their local server.

If so what licensing would be required i.e. would we need a full fledged exchange install or couldwe get away with something less.

our main site has ~ 110kb/sec upstream for 4 offices with dc’s at the moment, pushing for 2 more adsl connections as a tempoary fix before the new office with fibre, b/w and good web conns is quite expensive here in australia.

    thanks!
