In this session, you will learn the basics of how to use PowerShell for automating common administrative tasks in Windows Server. PowerShell is an object-oriented shell and language designed to help administrators automate routine tasks at scale across many servers simultaneously. You will learn about the different editions of PowerShell, how data is structured in objects, how to perform tasks like installing Windows Server roles and features and managing services and files. And finally, I will show you how to set execution policy to run PowerShell scripts.
